When something on this site turns out to be wrong, the correction is published here rather than quietly patched. Each entry says which page was affected, what the error was, when the wrong version went up, and when it was fixed. Material corrections are also noted on the page itself.
A correction on this page does not correct the page it was published on — both get fixed, and the entry below records both.

Corrected September 2026The molecule matrix, and every page printing tesamorelin's half-life
- What was wrong
- Tesamorelin's half-life was published as “26–38 min”, flagged on every page that printed it as a figure with no published source. Those two numbers come from the original EGRIFTA label, revised 11/2010, which reports “26 and 38 minutes in healthy subjects and HIV-infected patients, respectively, after subcutaneous administration for 14 consecutive days” — two averages for two groups of people, printed here as though someone had measured a span between them. Neither current label reports it.
- The correction
- The record now carries the current labels. EGRIFTA SV, revised 03/2024: “8 minutes in healthy subjects after single dose subcutaneous administration of the 1.4 mg of EGRIFTA SV”. EGRIFTA WR, revised 03/2025: “11 minutes in healthy subjects after single dose subcutaneous administration of the 1.28 mg of EGRIFTA WR”. The 2010 figures now appear only where a page says they are the older label's.
